I was awed and inspired by watching a now-famous drummer for some years. I saw a reaction video of that drummer and kept saying "insane gravity blast," and how it was clean. I am not a drummer or musician, but this is incredibly awesome to my ears. The drummer's name is Jorge Garrido, AKA El Estepario Siberiano, on UA-cam.

Okay, to start i use a (dont judge) Gear4music BDK 1 full size starter, the snare is a 14” x 5.5 poplar shell with a remo head, due to the lack of rim this blast is not possible for me, ive tried on surfaces like table edges but it doesn’t work, and i cant afford another snare now so idk what to do or how to learn it

I saw Mark Portnoy do this years ago and I had NO IDEA how he did it. I eventually figured it out, but MAN I wish I had this tutorial back then Would have saved me so much heart ache
